Mentorship & peer support for researchers who do it A-Lone.

What we're trying to build

A-Lone Researcher Club, built on four pillars.

I know how it feels to be the only researcher in the room. I've worked through the uncertainty, the self-doubt, and the pressure of making research matter without a full team behind me. Over time, I built research teams from scratch, pushed for a more user-centered culture, and grew into a strategic thinking partner across different organizations.

A-Lone Researcher Club is built from that experience — not as a place where I pretend to have all the answers, but as a space I wish I had when I was figuring things out alone.

A-Lone Researcher

How to survive and thrive as a Solo UX Researcher

"Your book gives an intimate look at your journey into the research space. I hope this book will be useful for readers, especially the 'one man show' researchers out there."

UXR Manager

"Reading it chapter by chapter, I felt seen. The structure made it feel like a conversation, not a lecture. As an A-Lone Researcher, this book feels like both a companion and a reminder."

What the community says about Beyond Research.

Stories from our first A-Lone Researcher Circle mentees will land here after the inaugural cohort.

"I've been to a lot of research and data communities before, but my first visit to Beyond Research gave a completely different experience. The people are warm, everyone is eager to learn new things, and most importantly, they respect the time as much as the guests. I strongly believe Beyond Research will grow stronger and bigger with the community members."

Senior Research Manager · Meetup Participant

"Overall, the event was well-organized, with a perfect balance of learning, networking, and inspiration. I left feeling motivated and better equipped to tackle my research challenges. I highly recommend this event to any researcher looking to stay updated and connected within the community."

Senior UX Researcher · Meetup Participant

"As someone who pivoted his career as a market researcher, this first meetup really helped me to get connected with fellow researchers in various industries and sharing about our challenges while conducting research projects."

Market Researcher · Meetup Participant

"The session provided a well-balanced mix of theory and practice, making complex research methodologies feel more approachable. I walked away feeling inspired and equipped with new perspectives. "

Beyond
Research

Beyond Research started from curiosity, confusion, and the hunger to learn.

I did not begin with a perfect research background or a clear roadmap. I learned slowly, made mistakes, and often had to figure things out the hard way. As I grew, Beyond Research became my way to stay connected with people I wanted to learn from — professionals who had walked further than me.

A-Lone Researcher Club continues that mission. It is my way to pass forward the lessons, kindness, and support I received, so fewer researchers have to grow alone.
